What I did
Cartographic design was a big part of my MSc in Geoinformation Technology & Cartography at the University of Glasgow. Several exercises and small projects on layout, label placement, symbology, generalisation, statistical representation, and many hours of personal experimentation helped me build a cartographic skill set.
